MATARANKA BITTER SPRINGS

We left Daly Waters at 8.30am and visited the Aerodrome. Very old dilapidated building but worth seeing for its historical signs in the main hall. It only take a while, especially if you take photos and look at them later. Saw another dead cow on the side of the road. I think we're up to 10 now. They must be being hit by cars. We are now heading towards Mataranka and Bitter Springs. Arrived at 11.00pm and booked into Bitter Springs. They have a spring which runs into the Roper River. We had a noodle which floats down the river to a ladder which you climb up and exit. Then you do it again. There are paper bark trees, lilies, and palms as you floats pass them. REALLY GOOD. We spent a few hours there and then returned home for pizza and a good sleep.
