Left home and visited the dentist, and shops. We then went on to East Arm Military Musem. WW11 reached Australia's Top End in 1942. Caught by surprise, Darwin found itself yet again ripped from it's roots. This time by unnnatural forces. An attack by the Japanese that killed 245 people, and lasted for 2 years. They have a video showing the bombing of Darwin, and Artillery and Armoured vehicles. A service women's display and extensive photographic display. Also, firearms from the past to present and Aviation, Navy and Army exhibits. They also have German and Japanese exhibits. A really good exhibition.
