Guess what, poured with rain for about 10 minutes around 9am. I think the pre-monsoon season is here. We went to The Window of the Wetlands Information Centre which has a great display on the lower floor, and on the upper floor it has a great video of Kakadu, which I brought a copy of. After this we went to Fogg Dam. This place is where rice was grown from 1954 to 1964 and needed water. The dam has a very large crocodile roaming around. Therefore it is only possible to drive across the dam wall. NO WALKING!!!!!!!! There is a display centre across the dam wall and display a variety of geese, ducks, egrets, whistling kites, and many other birds we can't remember the names of. A truly nice place to visit. We then went through the rice fields to where the Crocodile Cruises leave from to book a day long cruise after we arrive in Darwin. We arrived back at Corroboree and Les and I had a swim. We finished the day by having a drink with Cheryl who is working here and the couple from the next van. Had tea at 9.00pm, and finished writing my Blog.
