DALY WATERS

We walked around Devils Marbles this morning. Took lots more photos. We saw "cheese loafs" and "cottage loafs" determined by their shape. Some rocks are broken in half. This is caused by water seeping into the granite and causing the soft rock in the centre to break away. After the walk we went back to the van for breakfast. Packed up and left for Daly Waters. As we left a guy came and asked us if we could jump start his Nissan Patrol Diesel. Guess what? We couldn't!!!!!! He said they need a full charge to get them going. W
We arrived around at 1.30pm at Daly Waters. We booked in for "Barramundi and salad" The pub is a bit like "The Blue Healer" in Queensland. Lots of undies, jocks, bras, shirts, number plate, stop signs and a road that turns into a stage for the whip cracker around 9.30pm. However a bus decided to leave town half way through the show and we had to vacate the road so he could exit. The meal was excellent. Band was great, but poet, come singer did a lot of Bob Mager, which we were not to fussed on his presentation. Les had a look around and I had a sleep. Rang Beryl and Barney and Eric and Carol to catch up on the gossip in Shoalhaven. The pub has 2 very interesting chickens. You'll have to go to see what the do. Mark displayed his technique of whip cracking. Apparently he is one of the best whip crackers in Australia. He even whip cracked to Baa Baa Black Sheep and Waltz In Matilda.
THEY HAVE NO WATER HERE, BUT POWER AND TOILETS/SHOWERS. FLUSH TOILETS AND SHOWERS. BIT SMELLY BUT OK.
