We left the van and headed out to Daly Hot Springs. Unfortunately we went the long by turning off at Adelaide River instead of going down the highway further, and then turning off. However, it was a nice drive and I got to read my book along the way. Arrived there and had a swim. Unusual in that there were Hot Springs you couldn't access as they were too hot, others that were cooler, but still too hot for us and then another that run hot then cold alternately. It was 140km drive from Litchfield, so I wouldn't recommend you did it from here. However on your way up to Darwin it would be a great idea, and they have a huge National Park Camping Area that is only $13.20 per night/double. On our way back to Litchfield we called in to Adelaide River to see Liz and Lou but they had gone into Darwin for the day. Would you believe they had sold their house in Albion Park and brought a 5th Wheeler and were travelling the country. Lived near Les's brother.
