CORROBEREE PARK

We got up early and went to Ubbir where the Ranger was doing talks. We did the one at the Art Gallery and then we did the Rainbow Serpent talk. We realised that we had also been on the river at Katherine Gorge where the Rainbow Serpent had originated. We left here and went back and packed van and then continued to the Bowali Information Centre and looked through the aboriginal and other exhibits and then watched three movies on Kakadu. We then headed to Corroboree Park where we stayed for 2 nights. It was $22.50 for the first night and half price for the second. Good value. Has a swimming pool, toilets and showers, a tavern that sell meals at reasonable prices and a special every night for $12.50. Tonight's special was a Baked Dinner, but as we didn't order prior, and was too late arriving we missed out and had to settle for fish, chips and salad. Very nice.
