Went into Tourist Info and got info regarding whats on in Alice Springs. There seems to be quite a lot to do, plus we want to got out east MacDonnell ranges to Ruby Gap nature park and Arltunga Historical Reserve. We think we will stay here for at least 2 weeks, possibly longer. We also want to go the the Finke River races, which is motor bikes and 4WD along the Todd River. It is a 2 day race.
We also looked at the shops, and went into The Sound of Starlight. We had a free didgeridoo lesson. It was really good, and we are going to go to the concert at night. They have didgeridoos and the players name is Andrew Langford, who is excellent. Also a drummer, keyboard player and a guy who plays Djambai (african drums). Arrived home and relaxed.
