SERPENTINE GORGE / ELLERY GORGE

We arrived at Sepentine Gorge and walked along the flat walk to the gorge. It was a 2km walk and except for the last part over a few stones, it was really easy. The gorge is really beautiful, so we sat for about 1 hour chatting to people and taking in the beauty of the surroundings.
We then went on the Ellery Gorge. A very short walk to the gorge. Two young fellows were there and had a blow up boat. They let me use it to cross the gorge to the other side. However when I got to the other side, I decided not to get out, as the tide was a bit strong and I did have trouble launching myself to return to the safe side of the lagoon. WHOOPS!!!!!!! Ellery Gorge is really nice. We had lunch and returned home.
