ALICE SPRINGS MARKETS AND ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTRE.

We got up to another cold and very overcast day. I heard yesterday was the coldest day since 1945. Brrr. Decided to go to the markets, even though we assumed there would be limited stalls as the weather was so cold and drizzly. However there were some stalls, and we looked around for and hour. We also run into people we had met at Mt Gambier. We must have come the correct way, as they have had rain ever since leaving us.
We then went back to the Arts and Cultural Centre to see the Strehlow musuem and video. Also saw the Connelan Aviator musuem and the remains of the Kookaburra flight that crashed in the Tanami Desert killing 2 people. The plane was returned to Alice Springs by Dick Smith in 1988.
